ABOUT NICK
Nick Smathers is a Detroit-based actor, playwright, and director. As a child, the seed of creativity and performance carried him to a career in the arts. He has since advanced from playing every character in 'The Wizard of Oz' simultaneously (flawlessly, may I add) to discovering his presence in the professional world. Nick will graduate from Wayne State University in 2024 with a BFA in Acting. During his Wayne State career, Nick acted in five mainstage productions, toured Michigan in three productions with Motor City Cabaret; two of which he was the playwright, and directed Amelie in the Hilberry Studio.
